High Speed Access

Services Include:

T-1 & DS3

T-1's and T-3's are the standard in business connectivity. Because they are extremely reliable, T1 lines are widely used for private networks as well as the hop off to the Internet. Xecunet offers a variety of T1 line configurations, ranging from fractional T-1, bonded T-1 connections up to 6Mbps, and fractional T-3 speeds up to 45Mbps. The monthly cost for both T1 and T3 circuits are typically based on distance and rate of speed.

FastE & GigE

Available in both protected in unprotected modes, FastE and GigE are available in fractional increments up to maximum of 100Mbps or 1Gbps depending on the service selected. These services are delivered via an Ethernet handoff at your location. These services can be coupled with Xecunet Co-Location services to create an extremely reliable Enterprise disaster recovery solution. Xecunet is on-net with multiple carriers and is able to provide these types of services in thousands of locations throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia.

Service Level Agreement (SLA)

Xecunet has implemented an unprecedented Service Level Agreement (SLA) for our high-cap products. Our guarantees are some of the most comprehensive in the industry providing customer credits when we don't meet certain milestones.

Proactive Outage Notification

The Xecunet NOC (Network Operations Center) monitors your circuits for errors, latency, and of course outages and notifies you within minutes of a problem.

Equipment

Many of our high-capacity Internet products include free routers which are pre-configured for your install. However, if you have special requirements, Xecunet can provide you with equipment that needs your specific needs. We have extensive experience with routing.

IP Addressing

T-1, T-3, FastE, GigE services come with a block of 8 IP's. Additional IP address space may be purchased if required. Proper justification using ARIN standards is required.

BGP

Companies who need higher levels of bandwidth and redundancy usually obtain connections from more than one upstream network. Having multiple connections to the internet is called "multi-homing". Networks who are multi-homed use BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) to announce their IP address space to networks they interconnect with, so that in the event of an outage, their route announcements only propogate to the rest of the world through their working connection(s).

Each BGP enabled network is identified by an ASN (Autonomous System Number), which serves as an identifier attached to the network announcements. To properly multi-home, a network would obtain connectivity from two or more providers, and an ASN from ARIN (Link ARIN to www.arin.net). Xecunet can assist you throughout the entire process of obtaining an ASN and configuring your routers to start announcing your IP space via BGP.

Installation Engineering

All customers are assigned an installation engineer who will work with you on all the above topics. This engineer is personally responsible for the timely installation of your high-speed solution. Your engineer will guide and assist you through the installation and will be available for your inquiries after your circuit is up and billable.
